1. Accessing the Emails Module

Emails are managed from the Emails section in the main navigation.

  1. Log in to HEM-SP as a staff administrator.
  2. From the main navigation menu, select Emails.
  3. Review the emails list/dashboard to locate an existing email or create a new email.

2. Building a New Template

Use Add New (or the equivalent action shown) to build a new email message.

  1. On the Emails page, click Add New Email.
  2. Enter the template name.
  3. Enter the subject
  4. Select a campus
  5. Publish (Yes/No)
  6. Send to list (Yes/No). Choose yes if your building a mass email
  7. Choose the email theme and click Next
  8. In step 2 Enter more/different email information
  9. In step 3, you have the option to add analytics tracking data and click Next
  10. In step 4, Add a file to the template and click next.

3. Selecting Actions for your Email Template

After building the email, view the available list of actions

  1. View Email
  2. Edit Email
  3. Send Test Email
  4. Build (direct access to the email builder)
  5. Delete

4. Sending an Email to a Student

You can select an email template when sending an email.

  1. Click on the contact name
  2. In the contact profile click Actions
  3. Click send email
  4. Choose a template or simple text
  5. Preview Email
  6. Click finish to send the email
  7. To view the email tab click activities
  8. In the main menu click Sent E-mails to view all outgoing emails.
