1. Accessing Tasks for a Contact

Tasks are accessed from within an individual contact record.

  1. From the main menu, open Contacts and locate the required contact record.
  2. Open the contact record.
  3. In the contact record, open Activities.
  4. Select the Tasks tab.

2. Tasks List Overview

The Tasks tab displays a list of tasks for the selected contact, including task title, type, assignee, status, priority, due date, and created date.

Use the search bar and column filters to locate tasks. Use Refresh to reload the list.

3. Creating a Task

Use Add Task to create a new task for the selected contact.

  1. On the Tasks tab, click Add Task.
  2. In the Create Task window, enter a Title.
  3. Select the task Type (Meeting, Call, Email, or To-Do).
  4. Set the Due Date and Time.
  5. Select Assign To and choose the user responsible for the task.
  6. Select Priority (for example, Low, Medium, or High).
  7. If required, enable Notify by Email to send an email notification to the assigned user.
  8. Enter a Description and attach files if needed.
  9. Click Create Task to save.

Each task includes an Actions menu that allows staff to manage the task lifecycle.

  1. In the Tasks list, open the Actions menu for the task.
  2. Select the required action: View, Edit, Mark as Complete, or Delete.
  3. Bulk operations can also be performed by selecting one or more tasks and using the With selected option at the top of the list (where available).

5. Email Notifications (Notify by Email)

If Notify by Email is enabled when creating a task, the assigned user receives

an email notification containing task details and a link to open the task.

6. Calendar And Table Access

Tasks can be reviewed alongside other scheduled items by opening the Calendar from the user menu.

  1. Click the user profile menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Calendar.
  3. Switch between Calendar and table.
  4. Add a task for a contact from the Calendar or table pages.
